What to ask before you compare prices

Two offers on the same grade are only comparable once you know the vanillin content and the moisture level. Moisture determines how much dry matter you are actually buying per kilogram, and vanillin determines how the lot will perform in extraction. Ask for both, measured by an independent laboratory, along with the analysis date and the lot reference.
